It’s something men occasionally think about, how women try and get out of sex. Luckily for the world these kind of guys don’t usually have their act together. However one fellow out there thought it would be a great idea to make a spreadsheet detailing his wife’s excuses, and then emailed them to her.
Ranging from ‘non-verbal’ excuses through “I just came back from the gym, I feel gross (didn’t shower until next morning)” and up to the classic “I might be getting sick” the man seems to be trying to communicate outside the normal range at which a partner might consider their pleas.
The wife, posting under the user throwwwaway29, wrote: “Yesterday morning, while in a taxi on the way to the airport, husband sends a message to my work email which is connected to my phone. He’s never done this, we always communicate in person or by text. I open it up, and it’s a sarcastic diatribe basically saying he won’t miss me for the 10 days I’m gone. Attached is a SPREADSHEET of all the times he has tried to initiate sex since June 1st, with a column for my “excuses”, using verbatim quotes of why I didn’t feel like having sex at that very moment.”
She said that following the email the husband had cut contact.
Currently many people are indignant on both sides of the resultant online debate with men saying the husband shouldn’t have had sex withheld from him and he was obviously trying to communicate – and women claiming that men don’t communicate well and that maybe they do suffer from headaches.
What do you think?
